IPM

It is an all-purpose, non-gelling thickening agent widely used throughout the cosmetic industry for the stable consistency it gives to the products. It is comprised of 95% fatty acids derived from vegetable oils, primarily palm oil. This versatile material is also an emollient, moisturizer, viscosity stabilizer, and foam enhancer. 

 

Cetyl alcohol is an ingredient in many products such as moisturizing creams and lotions, shampoo, conditioners, exfoliants, sunscreens, hair sprays, hair dyes and hair mousse. It is a waxy-like solid added to lotions and creams to help stabilize and bind their ingredients together to prevent them from separating into an oil or liquid. 

 

Cetyl alcohol has several uses in addition to being an ingredient in many cosmetic products such as moisturizing creams and lotions, shampoo, conditioners, exfoliants, sunscreens, hair sprays, hair dyes and hair mousse. It is also used as a thickener in many products. Besides cosmetics and grooming aids, cetyl alcohol also has several industrial applications. It is a primary ingredient in fuels, chemicals, and plastics. Cetyl alcohol is also sometimes used in manufacturing as a lubricant for nuts and bolts. Potassium sorbate 

Potassium sorbate is a mild preservative being used in cosmetic and skin care formulas as a paraben alternative to prevent or retard the growth of microorganisms and protect products from spoiling. It is used to extend the shelf-life of your products by preventing the growth of bacteria, fungi, and molds. It is also used as an alternative to parabens. Potassium sorbate is found in skincare, cosmetics, and personal care products. It is a white, water-soluble salt that appears as small grains or crystals in its pure form. 

 

Potassium sorbate is used to inhibit the growth of molds and yeasts in cheeses, cakes, gelatins, yogurt, bread, low-fat spreads, and vinaigrette sauces for salads. It is also found in bakery products, canned fruits and vegetables, cheeses, dried fruits, pickles, juices and non-alcoholic beverages, ice creams, wines, cider and in processed, cured and smoked meats. In addition to food products, potassium sorbate is also used in skincare, cosmetics, and body care formulations.
